General terms and conditions of sale
“The Buyer” means the person company or firm by whom the Goods are purchased.
“The Goods” means the goods the subject of the contract or contracts to which these conditions apply.
“The Order” means the Buyer’s acceptance of the Sellers quotation.
“The Seller” means World of Confectionery which is the trading name for (Duvano Ltd).
All purchases made on this web site including online orders and phone orders are governed by these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions governing any purchase will be those in effect at the date of your order. We serve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without any notice. You should check prior to each order to ensure that you understand the precise terms and conditions applicable to your purchase.
We will confirm receipt of your order as soon as your order is received by e-mail or phone to the e-mail address you have provided. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the products. We will supply the goods to you in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
The prices quoted on our website are indicative/guide prices only.
All prices are quoted excluding VAT. Where applicable, VAT will be charged.
Prices shall be in accordance with the date of order. Any further packing, loading, carriage,insurance charges, customs duties and other export costs are accordingly payable in addition by The Buyer.
The actual order value cannot be determined until the day of delivery, as prices quoted on the website could be in the process of amendments. Please note that the price listed is a guide price and the price paid will be the price on date of delivery
3. Description of goods & availability
Except as otherwise agreed in these Conditions all descriptive matters samples specifications catalogues and advertising matter are published or issued for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them.
No information contained in any of them or in any other document shall form part of the contractual description of the Goods nor shall they form part of any contract and the seller shall not be liable for any inaccuracies or omissions in them.
The Seller reserves the right to make without notice such reasonable modifications in specifications descriptions or materials as it deems necessary or desirable.
The Buyer shall not been titled to object to or reject the Goods or any of them because of such reasonable modifications
Products are subject to availability and prevailing market conditions and delays in obtaining products may occur.
Product descriptions and prices should only be used as a guide and World of confectionery reserves the right to vary them without notice.
Delivery of Goods is to take place at the Buyer’s premises and is to be effected by a carrier or by the Seller. The Seller shall not be liable in respect of any damages in transit or non – delivery of Goods howsoever caused (including negligence) unless notice in writing is given to the Seller within 24 hours of delivery strictly via E-mail and including photographic evidence. Any claims will otherwise be considered void.
Times or dates quoted by the Seller for delivery of Goods are intended as an approximate estimate only.Time of delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract.
If for any reason the Buyer fails to accept delivery of the Goods: The Buyer shall remain liable to pay the price for the Goods with interest at the volumes and the rates specified in these Conditions.
It is your responsibility to ensure that an appropriate person is available at the delivery address at all times during the agreed date and time. All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over.
Should you fail to be present for your delivery we are entitled to charge you in full price of the goods contained in your order and the cost of delivery and re delivery.
For any damage in transistor non-deliveries the Seller’s liability will only be to replace the Goods within a reasonable time subject to the Goods being returned to the Seller immediately.
All goods remain the property of World of confectionery until payment has been made in full and received in full by World of confectionery.
Claims for shortages,damages or incorrect goods must be notified in writing with attached evidence such as images within 24 hours of delivery. Otherwise this will be deemed as void. Special orders that have been requested cannot be cancelled and any monies paid cannot be refunded due to delays in delivery, transportation or simple change of mind.
Due to our global network,we currently only accept Bank Account Transfer. However, when possible, both credit card and debit card with VISA / MasterCard brand logo will be accepted when possible. Payment may also be made via Mail order or over the phone Payments will need to be paid prior to delivery of goods. World of confectionery reserves the right to refuse delivery if these terms are not adhered to.
You agree to compensate us in full against all reasonable costs expenses and outgoings incurred by us in obtaining payments from you in the event a failed payment. This will include an administration charge of £50. We may at any time after a failed payment has occurred ask a debt collection agency to collect payment from you.For which you also agree under these terms to pay full fees and cost incurred to World of confectionery. We may charge you interest of 5% of your invoice as a daily charge, if you fail to pay or delay payments until payment has been paid in full with the interest payable.
If you are ordering as an individual or business and are ordering from your business/personal account,you as a ‘individual’ or 'director' or 'shareholder' of the company will be liable to pay in full. You agree by these terms and conditions to pay even if you decide to order goods and ‘dissolve’ or ‘liquidate’ or ‘bankrupt’ or change the company name and or status to pay as an individual. Regardless of whether the company is inactive, dissolved, or liquidated or bankrupt, you agree under these terms and conditions to pay full cost of the goods and cost incurred to Duvano ltd and your personal belongings may be sold by a debt collection agency to cover the cost incurred by Duvano Ltd.
7. Availability of service
The service may be unavailable at certain times to allow World of confectionery to maintain and upgrade the website. Although World of confectionery will always endeavour to inform customers in advance, this cannot be guaranteed. World of confectionery reserves the right to alter or withdraw the service at any time and reserve the right to refuse the service to any customer without giving a reason.

9. Warranty and Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will restrict our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, breach of contract or breach of statutory duty.
We will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these Terms and Conditions because of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations. If that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood and other acts of God, strikes, riots, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war, breakdown of equipment and with specific attention to road traffic problems and weekend carriage rules.
While we endeavour to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. We would advise you to check the label or product packaging, prior to use. World of confectionery cannot accept any liability in respect of the use of those 3rd Party websites.
